David Matthews

David Matthews is an experienced modern foreign languages teacher based in Vienna, Austria, and possesses nearly ten years of teaching expertise. Holding a Master’s of Education with a specialisation in teaching English as a Second Language, along with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours in German and Spanish, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Modern Languages at Swansea University. His research centres on the impact of Austria’s secondary school leaving exam in MFL and how it affects teaching methodologies and teachers’ perceptions on language learning.
