Gerardo Valazza is a freelance teacher and teacher trainer with over 30 years of experience in ELT. He holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Manchester and Cambridge DELTA. In 2023, he stepped out of his comfort zone and left his position as general manager at one of the most prestigious language schools in Uruguay to return to teaching and teacher training. He is passionate about professional development and delighted to be following his true calling.

A research study explores ELT practitioners’ uses of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), how they feel about it, the challenges they face when using it and the training they have received.
