Said Mattar Al Hatmi - I started as an English teacher for Young Learners in 2005. Later, I was appointed as a senior English teacher in a secondary school (16–17 years old), where I was responsible for the English department. In 2015, I shifted to teacher training and since then I have been working as a teacher trainer at Ibri Educational and Professional Development Centre. Professional development has always been my biggest concern. I am interested in investigating and promoting teachers’ professional development. benz.66@moe.om ---- Saif Said Rashid Al Abri - My journey in education began in 2002 as an English teacher, and over the years I have cultivated a strong belief in the power of learning and growth for educators. I pursued advanced studies in TESOL, earning an MA from Exeter University in the UK and a PhD from IIUM in Malaysia, specialising in teachers’ and trainers’ professional development. Through my articles, I aim to share valuable insights and expertise, empowering fellow educators with innovative approaches and inspiring excellence in the world of education. Together, let’s enhance our teaching practices and foster a generation of confident and successful learners.
