We teachers love the internet. It offers us everything, or almost everything, we need for our classes. Strategies, tips, organisational tools, games and, of course, materials. Getting a lesson for an intermediate class to practise listening on the topic of jobs is as simple as typing ‘Lesson plan B1 jobs listening’ and clicking on the first PDF links we see to have materials ready for the class that we have in half an hour. Of course, this is an oversimplification of what happens, but it’s not far from the daily reality that many of us can identify with.
