Getting to grips with a slippery concept

Sarn Rich researches and teaches language-related matters at Canterbury Christ Church University, including CELTA courses and MA Applied Linguistics.  Before this, he spent most of the 1990s teaching and wandering between Central Europe and the Far East, then settled back in the UK and learned about language and learning from his children.  His current interests include distributed cognition and escape rooms in ELT, gender issues and our responsibilities to future generations.
