Graphic novels: a useful resource?

Katya Arshavskaya is an associate professor in the intensive English programme (IELI) at Utah State University, World Languages and Cultures department. She is also involved with pre-service language teachers’ education at USU (the Master’s in Second Language Teaching programme, co-director). Her research and teaching interests include: intercultural learning; multilingual literature; computer-assisted language learning; critical pedagogy; and L2 teacher education. Katya is actively engaged with TESOL International Association (ITA-IS; Teacher Education-IS, and CALL-IS). She has published in the journals System, TESOL Journal and Teaching Education.
