How to write the introduction in IELTS writing

In the IELTS writing exam, the first paragraph that students need to write is the introductory paragraph. This paragraph essentially outlines the argument being discussed throughout the essay. So, if the introduction is not written correctly, the remaining information given in the body of the essay will be confusing and may not properly address the argument under discussion.
