‘Malachy is so fat.’
‘He’s not fat, he’s a baby. He’s just got a bit of puppy fat.’
‘Yeah, he’s fat.’
‘No, he’s just a little chubby.’
‘Dad, chubby is fat.’
‘Well . . . yeah . . . but also . . . he’s a baby, he can’t be fat.’
And that is how David started his day today . . .
