Here’s the thing: coursebooks get a bad rap and we feel that a lot of the flak they receive is unfair. OK, we’ve got to admit, they’re not all perfect. No coursebook will ever meet the needs of every student in every group across every school. But the reality is, they shouldn’t have to. That would be an incredibly lofty goal and if coursebooks did all the heavy lifting, we wouldn’t need teachers. Let’s explore this idea further.
