Why use readers?

Michael Lacey Freeman has been working in the field of English language teaching for over 30 years, both as a teacher and ELT author. He has been involved in a number of course book writing projects, both for the Italian and international market. He is also a storyteller and has travelled extensively around Italy and other parts of the world to tell his stories and spread the message that words are powerful. Five of his graded readers have won international awards and he tells some stories about his life in Italy on his podcast, ‘Tea at 5.00’ (Oxford University Press).
