Voicing urban treasures

In an increasingly urbanised world, reflecting on the nature and evolution of cities can provide impetus for further learning, especially when they are connected to learners’ personal experiences. The burgeoning travel podcast industry has fostered the emergence of interviews apt to convey the cultural landscape of cities. The current article presents a case study of an authentic podcast which combines travel with a focus on urban history, showing how it can be included to foster language learning by serving as a model for interviews.
