What a DoS wants: working with your director of studies

In my previous article, I looked at recruitment from the perspective of a director of studies (DoS). Hopefully you got the job you were after – which means you now ought to give some consideration to the relationship you want to build with your new DoS.

It goes without saying that you will want to teach to the best of your ability – and so I won’t say anything about that. I’ll instead be looking at some of the other aspects involved in the relationship between teacher and DoS, my hope being that by telling you about these problem areas . . .
