Why a career dance works for both parties

Each year thousands of people take a preservice teacher training course such as the Cambridge English CELTA or Trinity TESOL to either get into English language teaching or enhance their existing experience and/or qualifications. Given that it is also possible to work as an English language teacher without any previous experience or formal training, it is reasonable to argue that the number of people currently employed worldwide in TESOL is significant. While fully acknowledging that not everyone who enters the field of English language teaching does so with the intention of working in TESOL long term, others prove well . . .
