The first thing I saw when I opened a Microsoft Word document to write this article was the following message: ‘Describe what you’d like to draft with Copilot’.
Like most people, on seeing such a message, I barely batted an eyelid. Copilot is Microsoft’s AI chatbot tool, and such tools have become both ubiquitous and taken for granted since the launch of Open AI’s ChatGPT in November 2022.
