Maximising presentation skills

In my article in the July/August edition of MET 2025, I discussed how language anxiety could be alleviated by the use of novelty – among other factors – especially when giving presentations. Taking on from there, I wish to examine how the AI tool Orai (2026) can be used to give students targeted practice in their own time and at their own pace, as well as for supplementary use in class activities. The independent use of such a tool can go some way towards helping learners become better prepared to face the challenge of the presentation task in addition . . .
